It is a pleasure to welcome you to the 23rd annual meeting of the Swiss Stroke Society. The meeting will take place at the Kantonsspital St.Gallen on the 9th of January 2020 followed by the Trialist’s Meeting and the 3rd Interprofessional Stroke Symposium for Nursing and Therapy on the 10th of January 2020.
The Swiss Stroke Society Meeting 2020 will cover latest scientific developments in the field of stroke including an outlook on possible future surgical therapies of intracerebral haemorrhages, a controversies session as well as presentations of the new certification criteria for stroke units and stroke centers and the new Swiss Stroke Society guidelines on acute treatment and prehospital management of stroke.
The satellite symposium about post stroke dysphagia will enrich the programme with this important topic.
The Interprofessional Stroke Symposium for Nursing and Therapy comes up with a diversified programme which should appeal to this broad audience involved in the treatment of stroke patients.
